At Healing In Mind, I offer a safe, affirming space for adults who feel overwhelmed, burnt out or stuck to make sense of what’s been going on, without judgement or pressure to “just try harder”. I specialise in ADHD, autism, burnout, gambling harm and relationship struggles, and I work in a neurodiversity‑affirming way that respects your pace and your lived experience.


Together, we’ll gently untangle the patterns that are keeping you stuck and create small, realistic changes so life feels less chaotic and more manageable.

You don’t need to identify as neurodivergent to work with me, many of my clients simply relate to feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or unlike everyone else around them.

About me 

Hello, and welcome. I’m Kate, a psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist with over six years’ experience in mental health and therapy. Over the years I’ve created informal “tea and talk” spaces and worked in a crisis recovery service with people going through acute mental health difficulties. These roles have given me a lot of experience in staying steady and present with people during very tough moments.

I work with a wide range of adults and have a particular interest in neurodivergent clients - including women navigating a late (or suspected) diagnosis of ADHD or autism, and couples where one or both partners are neurodivergent. I understand how disorientating it can be to realise that your “quirks” have a name, and to process the mix of grief, confusion and relief that can come with that.

My style is warm, down‑to‑earth and collaborative. My aim is to offer a space where you feel understood rather than judged, and where we can gently untangle what’s been going on and find realistic ways to make life feel less overwhelming and more genuinely your own.

At Healing In Mind, I offer online counselling, couples therapy and clinical hypnotherapy for adults who feel overwhelmed, burnt out or stuck. I have particular experience with ADHD, autism, addiction and relationship struggles, and I aim to provide a calm, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and at your own pace.
Individual Therapy and Counselling

A safe space to understand why things feel so hard right now, to process what you’re going through, and to find new ways of coping. This can include support around ADHD, autism, anxiety, low mood, burnout, addiction and any other challenges life is throwing your way.

Couples Counselling 

Support for couples dealing with communication difficulties, trust issues or the impact of addiction and neurodivergence on the relationship. We focus on understanding each other’s patterns and finding more helpful ways of relating.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Personalised hypnotherapy using calm, straightforward suggestions to help you shift stuck patterns, build confidence, and cope differently with anxiety, habits, or overwhelm.
